WHO WE ARE
Rev. Jason Carson Wilson,

Founding Executive Director
Rev. Jason grew up as a biracial child in Illinois in a family that often only tolerated his presence. He grew up in a church that believed in racial stereotypes and peddled homophobia. That personal history and a faith that calls Rev. Jason to fight for the oppressed inspired the ordained United Church of Christ minister to found the Bayard Rustin Liberation Initiative.

Where Bayard Rustin Flourished
Bayard Rustin flourished in his social justice work at the Fellowship of Reconciliation, founded in 1915, that helped him become a household name. FORUSA served as Bayard Rustin Liberation Initiative's fiscal agent until September 2022.
